Cercropia wing.
Especially cool & rewarding, as it is the end of a successful cocoon overwinter by this fella, pictured last June. Now he's got 2 to 4 days to find a lady. Luckily, there's one at the other end of the terarrium.

Last day at the Plant Sale.
I had a few other shots that were composed & framed better, but none captured the spirit quite like that sloper in the background giving careful consideration to one of the few, droopy, sad remaining perennials a scant hour or so before they shut the doors at the end of "half price day." Consider, also, the female subject in the background to the right. She's attired in active-wear, and moving along at quite a speed in search of a remaining "deal."
