This is a tough one Dan. I will take a shot and say it was taken from your gable window on the south side of your house. That's a street light not an alley light. In the alley you would have a lot of power lines running to the house. I see none in this photo, but some could be hidden by the trees if I am wrong.
If you are facing towads the street in the front of your house you will be most likely facing the camera southeast. The view might be the same as the first dawn and dusk phot that you shot. What I mean by that is I think your camera is facing downtown.

If so, then it would be dawn. Servey says.......?

Sir, I am humbled by your powers of deduction. Nicely done, on every point. The camera is even facing downtown.
And what do you think of the photo?
CORY!!
I would have said dawn too but using entirely different logic.
Good moody shot.
Dan, love the shot.
It is an illusion of a vast and forested area. My first thought was, "Is that the lampost from Narnia?" :)
Meth, I would be interested in your entirely different logic.
Gotta love this one. Excellent, Dan.
You can't have it.
BASTARD! :)
