Does the top card's joke have any connection to you household?

Maybe a generation or two ago.

Are you teaching your kids how to play poker? Kenny Rogers knows a lot about poker. I could sing you the song sometime while we are on the phone. :)

If all the gambler learned after a lifetime of poker was those few words he uttered before he died, he was a moron.

I guess I can scratch you off the CMC Kenny Rodgers Tour?

"...you got to know when to hold'em, and know when to fold'em..."

"...know when to walk away, and know when to run..."

It all does come down to knowing when to hold 'em, and when to fold 'em.

BUT... "Somewhere in the darkness, the Gambler he broke even..." Broke even? I'll get my advice elsewhere.

I know the words to that song. That was my point. It's the gambling equivalent of trying to get by for a lifetime in the stock market simply knowing, "buy low, sell high."

Perhaps it works, but one wouldn't think so.
