I was hesitant the first time I went down that thing. It just doesn't look like it's put together correctly. Dan and I played some catch there last Jan. Love the photo!
It's really nuts. Kids going into this thing are like kids being thrown down the slide in Christmas Story, only that was a open-air slide with cotton at the bottom and this is a scary fuckin hole.
Mixdorf - we'll check out when you visit. It must be seen in person to be believed.

As a kid I used to love those things. They do seem a bit scary now.
I love this shit more than ever...assuming I can fit in the 'scary fucking hole'.
As to the photo, interesting, though the framing leaves me wanting.
I had a couple of other shots of it that might have been better photos, but didn't capture the "holy fuck" nature of the slope in quite the same way.
